Funerals during Coronavirus

In these unprecedented days and weeks of isolation and social distancing, we have all had to find a new way on living, and this has an impact on many events and family times that we have perhaps assumed would happen.

One such restriction has an impact on how we mourn the loss of loved ones.
The government has stated that only the immediate family may attend funerals either at the crematorium or at the graveside.
Currently [1st April] no funerals are to take place in churches, as these remain closed.

We can however pause in our own homes at the time of the service, and light a candle to remember the departed.
